The first monograph by OMA NY which elaborates on THE FIRM’S philosophy as they expand their portfolio geographically. Featured projects—led by partners Shohei Shigematsu and Jason Long—include residential skyscrapers in New York, Miami, and San Francisco, mixed-use developments in cities from Tokyo to Houston alongside more intimate spaces.

The interior features over 5,500 images (thumbnails of existing powerpoint presentations, diagrams, and sketches, references) presenting each of the 23 featured projects in extreme detail.

Dialogues with industry leaders including Taryn Simon, Iris van Herpen, Virgil Abloh, David Byrne, Alice Waters, Christopher Hawthorne, Lisa Phillips, Massimiliano Gioni, and Cecilia Alemani provide insight around areas of firm’s interests and preoccupations that stretch beyond the realm of architecture.
